HUMANE LOBBY DAY makes a difference!
Eleven days ago, animal advocates from all across Pennsylvania gathered in Harrisburg for Humane Lobby Day

If you haven’t watched this video yet, please take a few minutes — it really captures the energy of the day. So many people showed up for animals to be their voice - supporters standing together for the same purpose.
Around the 2:45 mark, Senator Doug Mastriano speaks on animal protection and animal cruelty. He also recognizes Kristen Tullo for her tireless work at Humane World for Animals, which was so deserves — Kristen has been very helpful to us and we are grateful to her!
After the press conference, Julie Clevenger and I spoke with Senator Mastriano about the need for a PA Spay & Neuter Voucher Program, especially given the overpopulation of stray cats and dogs and the terrible state Delaware County is in because of it. But it's not just Delaware County, it's across the state. Senator Mastriano was receptive, gave us his card, introduced us to his staff, and asked us to send more information on it.
Since then, I’ve finished drafting a legislative proposal and am now gathering letters of support before sending it to the senator's office If anyone is interested in providing us with a letter of support, please email Lisa at DelcoLovesAnimals@gmail.com and I'll send you what you need.
Thank you to everyone who continues to speak up for those who can’t speak for themselves — whether human or animal. Don’t give up. It matters.
