Pet Food Pantry -September 21st! Fun for All!

 

Hello!

Thank you for being part of Delco Loves Animals! Our Pet Food Pantry is tomorrow! If you are approved to participate in the pantry, you should have received an email last month. New enrollments are being reviewed now so if you applied after last month’s pantry expect to receive a separate email shortly. If your enrollment was not yet approved, we’d still love to see you tomorrow and set up a time to discuss how we can work towards getting you approved. We don’t want to turn anyone down but your approval is based upon the information you provide.

A Huge Thank You to Sue Spinello & The Spayed Club!

We want to give a big shoutout and heartfelt THANK YOU to Sue Spinello and The Spayed Club for partnering with us to host last month’s Pop-Up Pantry (Huckster-Style) in their parking lot! Thanks to their care and support, everything ran smoothly and efficiently. We had pre-packed bags labeled for each recipient, making distribution quick and easy.

A Huge Thank You to Steve Zane - Collingdale Councilman & Firefighter and the Collingdale Fire Company (Station 33)!

This month, we’re back to our regular pantry format—but it’s anything but ordinary! We’re thrilled to be co-hosting with the Collingdale Fire Company and Steve Zane, - Collingdale Borough Councilman & Firefighter who will be bringing special activities for all ages (see below)!

Therefore, we’d also like to give a big shoutout and heartfelt THANK YOU to Steve Zane and the Collingdale Fire Company for their generous support. 🙌🚒 Looking ahead, we’re excited to keep growing! We’d love to partner with more local businesses, churches, rescues, and shelters to bring even more community-focused pantry events to life.

Together, we can make a lasting impact for families and their pets. 🐾💙 Let’s keep building something amazing—with you, for the community!

 Here’s what’s happening at tomorrow’s Pet Food Pantry:

 🚒 Special Activities for All Ages

• Tour the fire trucks
• Try operating a real hose line
• Enjoy FREE swag
• Learn about pet safety in the home
• Enjoy FREE refreshments from Wawa🥤
• Basket Raffle to benefit an animal RESCUE

✨ Light refreshments will be provided, courtesy of our friends at the Glenolden Wawa and there will be some homemade goodies as well!

This special event, hosted by the Collingdale Firehouse, will be more than just a Pet Food Pantry and is open to all residents of Delaware County. Fun for everyone!
