We’re Looking for Volunteers to Join Delco Loves Animals!

Starting a nonprofit is no small or easy task. Everyone who’s been through it told us just how much work it takes. And they were right.

Truth be told, we never planned to start a nonprofit. When friends and well-meaning community members encouraged us to do so, we pushed back. “It’s not for us,” we said. “We weren't planning on it."

But sometimes life surprises you.

Here we are, building Delco Loves Animals because the need to support pets and families in Delaware County is too important to ignore. And let's be honest. Everyone involved in pet rescue has their hands full already.

Launching a nonprofit means long hours, a lot of learning, and hard work. But it also means making a real difference—and we’re ready for that challenge.

But We Can’t Do It Alone.

Delco Loves Animals has big goals—helping pets, supporting rescuers, rescues/shelters, fosters, trappers, and strengthening our community. To make it happen, we need people like you. Volunteers who are passionate, kind, and ready to roll up their sleeves.
